I have printed off the colour mock up for envy at a larger scale to see how it could possibly look.

For the sin envy i wanted to use the main feature the eyes, the idea was to in some way reveal the eyes showing that they are green and to also have to word envy written in the eyes.

I scanned these drawing into illustrator to add some colour and print off for a mock up.

7 Deadly Sins - Back to drawing board

After going back to some initial ideas, i have come up with a concept of using the different parts of the body to represent the sins, this illustrations will be interactive similar to a pop-up book and each sin will be illustrated and made interactive to reveal the sin.






I want to use abit of humour with the sins make them interactive and fun, a direction i feel suits my practice more than the initial idea i was developing.

After my tutorial and speaking about my idea of creating an old bible book for the seven sins, i took a step back to read the brief again, although the images i have been collecting for the sins are from the present the way i am putting them into context is to dated. A more current way of representing these sins would be more appropriate for the brief as well as my design practice.

After collecting some images i have created a face by collage and have then sketched the image scanned it in and repeated the image to make the complete face, i intend to create a old bible like book with this as etches, each in a different colour.
